We've Got to Get Right Back to Where We Started From

NorCal, here i come

I am home in santa fe, fresh from the cali mountains and a fabulous visit with the 1 and only chief. thought i would share some pics of where that lucky SOB now calls home. The top picture is literally the view from a window of his house - can you stand it? ass. Who are those goddamn hippies congegrating in the road? no one i know. If you are anti-hippies, you're going to want to stey far, far away from ol' forks of salmon. though, i suppose you could manage just taking in the scenery, and not everyone is a hippie - theres the good old boys, 3 huge native american tribes, lots of families and kids (well i guess they=hippies) If you dont like hippies, do not stay on the godfrey ranch, i highly reccomend a forks of salmon visit regardless. Me, i have no prob with hippies. usually. So, we had a blast taking in all the lovliness, hand grinding and pressing our coffee every morning, doing some serious eating ( i was hoping to drop some pounds but these folks can cook, even chief made his famous tuna noodle casserole). I am a bit more of a beer conisseur having been introduced to such things a s the alaskan smoked porter. And yes, also pictured is Ruthless with his new bitch, Zara the wolf dog. Purely a vacation thing, sucks to be Sigh though. Totally dissed for some poon tang. Zara looks goofy in this photo, but she is actually quite the looker and they would have made super cool looking puppies if only we had not clipped the ruthless. oh well
Another highlight was the trip to Arcata to see the Homewreckers (thats the band) rock the house late night at an outdoor lumberjack sports competition. Ho-ly shit on that one. crazy. lumberjack guys and girls, a pigroast, 3 enormous potentially forest fire starting bonfires and of course silk and piddy. who'd of thought. Now that I think back on that crazy night, I realize that Piddy has some CLASSIC and i mean CLASSIC shots of chief and other bandmembers on stage with the crew of dancing shirtless lumberjack girls who thouroughly enjoyed showering the homewreckers with what some might call inappropriate amounts of appreciation. Do not be alarmed, all the burly ladies had sports bras on. Gonna have to share those babies too, obviously.
A great trip that i have been wanting to do for the longest, may have to head up again over the summer when i could actually take a swim in the salmon river, which fyi is some clean ass water. nice to see. I am contemplating a life on the mountains with horses and all that jazz, not sure if i am ready. but maybe.

Dude, I am SO jealous, and I am SO ready to start my life on a mountain. I've had enough of this "real life" bullshit. I LOVE hippies & deep down I am one. My career doesn't allow me to express the true Medusa Jones that lies within. Damn the man!!!

MJ, I think this is the place to be. I hear where you are coming from, and I am down. I know Klassy is into the commune idea, Dr.J as well. Our man Chief is onto something, fortunately, we have an in. In the meantime, go about your biz, avoid eye contact and know tht there is ALWAYS a mullet where you least expect it to make people worthy of walking the earth.
