Hot Fun in the Summertime

I check on the old bloga-lish every now and then, somehow expecting new material. I don't know why, force of habit I guess and I do feel if it's been a week or more that perhaps new activity is somewhat possible. Alas,...
I was thining maybe the name should be changes to Silk E.'s meaningless life, or somthing along those lines, as that is all we have posts on for the last two months.
Anyhow, I myself would probably not be posting jackshit save for the fact that I am at home with not a damn thing to do, at least not today, and this lovely macintosh my only connection with the outside except you know actually going outside and, well, i can do this in my underwear so it wins out.
The '07 Lesbian ( but all are welcome!) Beach Vacation was a great time. I have not attended the annual outing for a number of years in a row, and was very pleased with my comeback trip. Though the rental had some issues, this is a common theme in my life so not too hard for me to accept. Beach Vacation Quote of this year goes no contest to James D. who in discussion of his OB/GYN/ birth ward rotation for nursing school commented:
"Yep. There's nothing natural about one person crawling out of another".
Classic shit. No one is going to forget that little saying, ever.
I consumed more sugar in that week at the beach house than i have in the past 4 months, but that's is why it's a vacation i suppose. I also have a half assed tan, for the first time in ages so that's nice. I suspect the blazing new mexico sun will help me keep that up over the coming months.
Other than that in a quick recap we had; plenty of immersion style parenting c/o the youngins, my first real game of texas hold em, the cavs unforunate suckage, a "natural phenomenon" in the form of electric shock in our house swimming pool, way too many meat products from Food Lion, some spirited family and non family arguments that ended on hysterical laughter by at least one party involved and several not involved, multiple requests for any valium in the house, and one gruesomely injured toe which i hope is making a speedy painless recovery.
Also, American Airlines is a bad airline staffed by some pretty rude people, and I do not trust their aircrafts. fyi.
I guess that's all for now ;)
