facelift

so i remodeled blogalicous and i don't know where the f the links have gone to? we had the w52, notes from the muck, klassy. J.ho, help a sister out. i'd like to add some more links too, once we recover their space. like maybe the GOP babe of the week which matt has on the notes. High freaking larious. As though Jessica Simpson even knows what a republican is -aren't they the people who work at banana republic? chicken or tuna?
Rufus's fat ass stepped on my laptop this morn, which yes i carelessly left on my bedroom floor. I saw it coming too. He was on the bed and i wanted him off and i told him "watch the computer", but he was obviously ignoring me, or maybe he no speak the english. either way, my screen now looks as though someone shot it with a gun. the thing works, but is not very nice to look at. i guess it's new computer time. yep.
alright kids i'm off to unwind after a tiring day of packing. yawn.
looks like we're getting a little posse together for thursday night at the barking spider. holler.

Neighborhood News

Well, oh my. Yes my friends, JHo is back. What has spurned this action, you ask? Well, some neighborhood news to share. And a desire to please SilkE. And now that I'm back at work I have random time to kill. Go Guidance!

So, driving down the old block a few days back, and low and behold but our old stomping grounds are for sale! But yes! How so? Oh no! 1828 is on the market. For the low low price of 240 g's, you can own one big, inefficient, cold, dark, creaky, did I mention cold, old house in the OC with such delightful neighbors as "Porkchop". Or, as the lovely flier puts it, a "charming, unique, turn of the century Victorian with delightful mother-in-law suite and plenty of neat features". By neat features, do they mean a jacked up back door? A scary basement? A leaking fridge? So, as a public service to the house-buying world, I'm going to make my own flier. It will have in large letters at the top:

"THIS HOUSE COSTS $900 A MONTH TO HEAT IN WINTER".

Followed by:

"THE UPSTAIRS DECK IS A FIRE HAZARD."

and

"PORKCHOP WILL EAT YOUR ASS IF YOU DON'T WATCH OUT."

Now that last one may be a bit of an exaggeration, but not really.

Anything I'm missing? Let's make a flier!

Random shoutout to SilkE and Dr. J for a high-larious gathering yesterday.
Random shoutout to Klassy Kate, we really miss you here in Cleveland are you moving back?
Random shoutout to Medusa: keep the mullets coming. I want to see that waterfall.

Peace, Pot, and Micro-dot.
JHo

Party at Dr. J's...etc.

Sunday afternoon. a bon voyage for myself and the P.diddy. 3pm-ish. Medusa J, Dr.J has told me three times now to BE SURE i invite you so hopefully you can make it, or she may be dissapointed. It will mostly be a Silk's family thing with Piddy's fam too, salex, and hopefully the other 3,4, dare i say 5 of you blog readers. British Ed, Killah Bee, you guys are more than welcome of you can make it and if you read this/ i see you to extend the invite.
In other news, my other roomate (she who is not megan) is giving me the silent treatment. I sensed some hostlity, but am now for sure as i said "Hi" upon seeing her last night and was greeted with a wall of glowering silence and an immediate disappearance from the living room as i entered the house.
I suspect the deuce peeing on her laundry has do with out, however, when she informed me of this and we discussed it, to all the things i said she said "I'm sure it will wash "right out. SO, the animals may be the issue, but this is not certain to me as it as not as though they consistently defacate on things in the house. This is the ONLY pissing incident on record, in fact, and all other forms of vomiting, etc, have been cleaned up promptly and no harm has been done to any part/ surface of the house. I think another possible cause could be Piddy spending the night here alot, but we never really see anybody except in passing and we sleep in way late so no issues with morning run in-s or anything.
My dilema is - do i care at all, being as i am out in a week? Meaning do i care enough to prompt her to tell me wtf her prob is, as clearly she is going to take the passive route, always terribley effective. Whatever the prob, i would apologize and offer whatever needed from my end to solve the prob. and i am curious, as i cannot place anyhing that happened as of sunday or so when she apparently "turned".
so, readers WWYD?
I am rather stressed out with this car buying thing and have lots of other stuff on the brain so this is not a priority, as i hardly know her in the first place
anyway, we shall see. peaceout -

DONE!

I am done with the menial tasks i have called my job for the past two years plus. yay. I will of course miss a few things and a few people but i will survive. i am very glad to have the next one week and a few days to pack up my shit and get ready to rock. We scoped out a Ford Escape today, having decided to buy something to make our move in as that is the most economical thing to do. well, that or live in a stark empty house for the next year and sleep on the floor. It is a 2001, 58,000 miles. I think it is A-OK, but, damn car salespeople are a TRIP. Trip.
I got myself a myspace page, as did piddy yet i am not real satisfied with it, which is part of why I am inspired to utilize the blogalicious once again. I thought myspace might keep me in touch with folks after i move, but it seems no one really uses it very much, and i feel lame with my 4 friends and 2 comments. i may have to leave that behind, but you can have songs, which is fun. Speaking of songs, i think i'll do a random 5 b/c 5 is enough and maybe will keep it more random:
1. People are Strange - the doors - greatest hits - reminds me of the w52 comments/ raging
2. What New York Couples Fight About - morcheeba- parts of the process
3. Every State Line - Ani D. - Living in clip - ani has a good, very poetic new album out. i dig it. she is also pregnant! very exciting for me, as you know i am her bff.
4. She- Green Day - a fun little punk ditty
5. Don't Rock the Boat - Bob and the Wailers - African Herbsman - every reggae fan should have this album, it is s fabulous selection of their tracks and it is not Legend , one can only listen to ANY album 10,000,000 times or so and then, you are done.
well, i had to cheat my ass off on that one. i guess i did not have to but, i felt i should. The i pod is rusty though and so am i so i'm sure it will improve.
onward and upward. enjoy the tuesday night -
